Matchday two of the 2025/26 League Two season is upon us, with all 24 teams in action on Saturday.
We have previewed five of the 12 matches taking place in the fourth tier of English football this weekend.
A £10 wager on our three-leg acca would pay out £60.45, while the same stake on our five-leg version offers a potential return of £161.21.
Crewe Alexandra vs Accrington Stanley: Crewe to win
Crewe got their campaign off to a winning start last weekend, putting Salford City to the sword in a 3-1 victory.
The Railwaymen played some fantastic attacking football on matchday one, racking up a remarkable 3.94 expected goals on their travels.
Crewe took 22 shots and landed 10 of those on target, so Accrington Stanley should prepare for their defence to come under heavy pressure on Saturday.
Accrington drew 1-1 with Gillingham in their first encounter of the new term, but John Doolan’s team are still among the favourites for relegation.
Lee Bell needs a strong start to the season after coming under pressure as Crewe boss, and a second win on the bounce would allow him to sit a little more comfortably.
Having dazzled against Salford last time out, Crewe should prove too strong for Accrington in their first home match of 2025/26.

Barrow vs MK Dons: Under 2.5 goals
Barrow came unstuck last weekend, going down to a 1-0 defeat by Chesterfield. They will hope to get off the mark when they welcome MK Dons to Cumbria on Saturday.
Barrow started last season well, before tailing off dramatically once autumn set in. Stephen Clemence was dismissed in January, after which Andy Whing guided the club to a 16th-place finish.
Barrow are likely to finish mid-table again this season, although like many clubs in this division you cannot rule out either a play-off push or a promotion battle.
MK Dons are the favourites to win the League Two title, but they could only manage a goalless draw with Oldham Athletic in their first game of the season.
MK have plenty of money behind them, yet that is no guarantee of success and Paul Warne will want to see more from his team here.
MK were lacklustre in attack on matchday one, so this could be another low-scoring affair.

Bromley vs Barnet: Both teams to score
Barnet’s outspoken manager Dean Brennan was once again honest in his assessment of his team’s performance in a 2-0 loss to Fleetwood Town last weekend.
“I can’t wait for the key players to come back,” the Irishman said afterwards. “It’s great to have [Callum] Stead back, that’s a massive positive from the game. Maybe this is a bridge too far for one or two of them, maybe I have to look at that.”
It is unclear whether or not Brennan will make changes for this game, but his team could do with becoming a bit more streetwise following promotion from the National League in 2024/25.
While Barnet play some lovely football at times, they need to be more effective in both penalty areas to have a successful campaign.
The Bees do create chances, though, and they have what it takes to find the back of the net against Bromley, who should also score.

Notts County vs Salford City: Notts County to win
Salford were outplayed in that aforementioned 3-1 defeat by Crewe, and Karl Robinson will be looking for a response when he takes his team to Nottingham.
This will not be an easy game for promotion hopefuls Salford, however. Notts County made the play-offs last term and they are targeting the same outcome this year.
Martin Patterson oversaw a 1-1 draw with Newport County last weekend. The Magpies collected more points away than at home in 2024/25, so an improvement at Meadow Lane could see them kick on.
Notts were the better team against Newport, but they could not find a way to pick up maximum points. In our view, they will have more success this weekend.

Harrogate Town vs Grimsby Town: Over 1.5 goals
Round off your acca with what looks to be a banker – at least two goals scored between Harrogate Town and Grimsby Town.
Grimsby were perhaps League Two’s most impressive performers on the opening weekend, as they ran out 3-0 winners against Crawley Town.
They sit top of the table heading into matchday two and it is in first place where they wish to remain.
Harrogate were also triumphant in their first game, edging out Bristol Rovers 1-0 away from home.
Both these teams will push for victory on Saturday, so we should see goals.
