Meghan Markle’s former BFF Jessica Mulroney stayed quiet in the years following their falling out — but her recent split put her back in the headlines.
Us Weekly confirmed in July 2025 that Jessica and husband Ben Mulroney split after 16 years of marriage. The former couple share three kids, twin sons Brian and John (born in August 2010) and daughter Isabel (born in June 2013). All three were famously in Meghan’s May 2018 wedding to Prince Harry — her sons were pageboys while her daughter was a bridesmaid.
Jessica and Meghan met on the set of Suits and kicked off what appeared to be an inseparable friendship. However, things started to fracture between them in 2020 after influencer Sasha Exeter called out Jessica — a stylist — for alleged “problematic behavior and antics” in the fashion community. Jessica was quick to name-drop Meghan in her apology at the time.
A source told Us that Meghan “could not get over” Jessica bringing up their close friendship.
Look Back at Meghan Markle and Jessica Mulroney's Friendship Timeline
“That was hugely offensive to Meghan and the deciding factor for her,” the insider said at the time. “Meghan considers the relationship to be done.”
While there hasn’t been a more recent update on their friendship, Us looked into what Jessica has been up to in the recent years:
She’s Still Into Fashion
Jessica can’t stop sharing outfit photos (she loves a mirror selfie) on social media.
A Doting Mother of 3
All three of Jessica and Ben’s kids make frequent appearances on her Instagram feed.
“Night out with the team,” she captioned an April 2025 outing with Brian, John and Isabel.
Staying Strong — Literally
Jessica loves a workout video and will often share videos of herself strength training.

Hanging With Meghan’s Mutuals
In 2023, Jessica posted a photo alongside Abigail Spencer, who is famously one of Meghan’s closest friends.
Starting a Brand
Aside from her job as a stylist, Jessica started her The Bedside Manor startup in June 2024, which is “focused on developing products and supplements to enhance sleep quality,” according to LinkedIn.
Jessica wrote that she “designed and implemented effective sleep routines to help users achieve restorative sleep nightly” and “conducted market research to identify customer needs,” which led to the launch. The job description also boasts that she “achieved a 150 percent increase in customer engagement” with the brand in one year.
The Last Reference to Meghan
Following the apparent drama, Meghan allegedly sent a massive bouquet to Jessica in March 2021. Jessica shared a photo of the flowers on social media along with a caption thanking “MM.”
More than one year later, royal watchers started to speculate that they were still on the outs when Harry & Meghan premiered in December 2022 — and Jessica was not referenced.
“Best thing I ever did was learn how to move without the crowd,” a quote Jessica reposted on social media read after the first batch of episodes dropped.
