Mark Selby has become the fifth player to reach 900 career centuries at the Saudi Arabia Snooker Masters.
The four-time world champion was knocked out in Jeddah as he suffered a 6-4 defeat to Neil Robertson on Wednesday.

But Selby is still likely to hold fond memories of the encounter, as he earned a unique place in snooker history in the second frame.
After falling 1-0 down, the Englishman then put together a run of 119 to pull level, writing his name into the record books in the process.
Having started the day on a career total of 899 centuries, Selby is now the fifth player to reach the 900 mark.
He joins Ronnie O’Sullivan, Judd Trump, John Higgins, and Robertson in the elite club.
The Leicester cueman’s next target is to reach 1,000 centuries, a mark which O’Sullivan, Trump and Higgins have all surpassed.
O’Sullivan, who is a seven-time world champion, holds the record for most century breaks, with 1,920 to his name to date.
Meanwhile, current world no.1 Trump sits second in the all-time list with 1,094, while Scottish great Higgins boasts 1,039.
But Selby could once again be pipped by Robertson in his quest to join the decorated trio.
The Australian holds the fourth-most career centuries, with his current tally on 989, having brought up the 900-mark at the Wuhan Open in September 2023.
He managed to nudge ahead against Selby in Saudi Arabia, holding his nerve after a spirited effort from the Englishman.

Having raced into a 3-1 lead, Robertson then saw his lead disappear as the Jester from Leicester took the fifth frame with a score of 75-33, before levelling it at 3-3 after taking the sixth frame 98-0.
Selby then nudged ahead shortly after to go 4-3 up, but this only brought the best out of his opponent.
Robertson claimed the next three frames, including taking the tenth and final frame with a huge score of 138 against his opponent, advancing to the quarter-finals after winning 6-4.
This was the second year in a row that the Aussie has knocked the English star out in the Middle East tournament.
In 2024, Selby fell to a 5-3 defeat in the round of 32 in Jeddah against Robertson, who went on to reach the quarter-finals, where he was beaten by eventual champion Trump.
While success in Saudi Arabia has eluded Selby, he has had plenty of joy elsewhere in his career.
Since turning professional in 1999, the 42-year-old has won 24 ranking titles, and is a four-time world champion.
He tasted glory at the Crucible for the first time in 2014, before going on to add further titles to his collection in 2016, 2017 and 2021.
So far this year, he has lifted just one title, winning the Welsh Open in February after triumphing over Scotland’s Stephen Maguire in the final.
