FISHERS, Indiana, April 1 — The Chipotle Nationals tournament is under way with the opening round tipping off Wednesday evening at Hamilton Southeastern High School in Fishers, Indiana.
The No. 8 SPIRE Academy [Geneva, OH] (28-4) will take on the No. 12 Archbishop Stepinac [White Plains, NY] Crusaders (25-4) in the opening-round nightcap. SPIRE is the #8 seed while the Crusaders will take the court as the #9 seed.
Both teams are out of the running for The Sporting News High School Boys Basketball National Championship, but they both have an opportunity to help determine how things shake out.
