Roger Federer names his favorite Super Bowl moment of all time
Federer said his favorite Super Bowl memory came from attending the game in 2008.
He recalled being in the stadium when the New England Patriots were chasing a perfect season with Tom Brady at quarterback.
“I was at the Super Bowl in ’08 when Tom Brady was going for the perfect season,” Federer said.
He explained that the moment that stood out most came late in the game.
“I remember we had the catch on the helmet from the Giants to win the game, that Eli Manning pass,” Federer added.
“That was my favorite memory, obviously, of being in the stadium.”
The play Federer had in mind was David Tyree’s iconic 32-yard reception in the final two minutes of Super Bowl XLII.

Federer also spoke about halftime shows that have stood out to him over the years. He said one performance from over 30 years ago left a lasting impression.
“From YouTube, everything I saw was Michael Jackson, the moment when he comes, and he shows up,” Federer praised MJ’s 1993 performance. “That was awesome.”
He added that a more recent halftime show also resonated with him.
“Then I liked Eminem, 50 Cent, and Dr. Dre in LA,” Federer continued. “I like that because that’s music I also grew up with.”
