Among the teams with new head coaches this offseason is the Steelers. They parted ways with longtime head coach Mike Tomlin and hired former Cowboys and Packers head coach Mike McCarthy to the post.
Since then, McCarthy has been putting together his staff. Among his first hires was naming former Raiders defensive coordinator Patrick Graham to the same position.
The Steelers weren't done with plucking from the coaching staff in Las Vegas. Thursday they hired Derius Swinton II to a senior assistant special teams post.

Swinton spent much of this past season as the Interim Special Teams Coordinator in Las Vegas following the firing of Tom McMahon.
Swinton spent the past three seasons with the Raiders which means he had three different head coaches in his time there -- Josh McDaniels (2023), Antonio Pierce (2023-24), and Pete Carroll (2025). And with Carroll out, it didn't matter whether he stayed with the Raiders or not, it would be a fourth this year.
He is also on his 11th NFL team in 17 NFL seasons.
