It seems like Bravo is gearing up for an explosive first season of The Real Housewives of Rhode Island — which includes Ashley Iaconetti’s tears.
While fans got a first look at the show and its cast during 2025 BravoCon late last year, the network offered a more extended preview in the three-minute-long trailer that dropped on Thursday, February 5.
“People here, they don’t look down on other states but they are weirded out that other states exist,” former Bachelor Nation star Ashley, 37, says in the video’s opening moments. While she wasn’t prominently featured in Thursday’s trailer, there was a huge hint that her and husband Jared Haibon’s finances will play a part in the season.
“I know that you’re insecure about how Audrey’s doesn’t bring enough in,” Ashley tells her husband, referring to their Rhode Island-based coffee shop.
But that’s not the biggest bombshell that’s teased for season 1. It appears several rumors about cast member Rulla Nehme Pontarelli’s husband, Brian Pontarelli, “having an affair” will be a major story line.
“I want you to know, it’s happening currently,” Jo-Ellen Tiberi tells Rulla at one point.
Just like any Housewives franchise, the husbands will be involved as well. Brian is spotted confronting another one of the men, seemingly discussing the affair rumors.
“It was told to me that you were perpetuating info around,” he says, seemingly to Jo-Ellen’s husband Gary Tiberi.

“When someone calls my wife’s work, that’s a huge f***ing problem for me,” Gary replies.
The women will, of course, also have drama amongst themselves. At one point, things get heated between Rosie DiMare and Kelsey Swanson, so much so that there is a shove and a door slam.
“What have I done to you?” Rosie asks, before things start to get escalated. “You’re literally a f***ing no one.”
Rose continues, “You’re not welcome here. You’re a f***ing bitch. Get the f*** out,” while pushing her castmate out the front door of her home.
Kelsey can be heard saying, “Don’t touch me,” as the door slams.

The cast also includes Alicia Carmody and Liz McGraw. Real Housewives of New Jersey star Dolores Catania has also been announced as a friend-of, because of her longtime connection to Liz, but the Bravo veteran was not spotted in Thursday’s trailer.
Dolores did, however, tease what fans will see during the debut season.
“I’m very excited,” she said during a November 2025 episode of the “Two Ts in a Pod” podcast. “These girls are not going to try to emulate other Housewives. They are themselves and I love it.”
Dolores noted that the women are “raw,” explaining that they’re still getting their footing in the reality TV world.
“They’re not big all over social media,” she added. “I’m sure they’re getting it now, but this first season, these girls are absolutely themselves and it reminded me of Jersey before things got crazy.”
The Real Housewives of Rhode Island premieres on Bravo Thursday, April 2, at 9 p.m. ET. Episodes will be available to stream the next day on Peacock.
