The Feb. 5 trade deadline is fast approaching, and the Boston Celtics have yet to make a move. Brad Stevens spent the summer cutting costs, trading Kristaps Porzingis and Jrue Holiday, while allowing Al Horford and Luke Kornet to leave in free agency.

However, even after the talent drain during the offseason, Joe Mazzulla's team is currently a top-three team in the Eastern Conference and looking like a good value as a potential postseason threat. Therefore, Stevens may feel the time is right to try to improve the current roster via the trade market. The most logical area in need of improvement is the center rotation.

During a recent discussion on WEEI's "The Greg Hill Show," the hosts discussed whether now was the right time for the Celtics to go all-in on a big-time trade, or whether they should wait and see how the team looks once Jayson Tatum is back in the rotation and nearing full health. Of course, if the Celtics wait until the summer, they won't be able to dangle Anfernee Simons' expiring contract in trade talks.
