The Seattle Seahawks appeared to stop the Los Angeles Rams on fourth-and-12 in the third quarter, but after the incompletion from Matthew Stafford to Puka Nacua, a flag was thrown.
Taunting was called on Seahawks cornerback Riq Woolen, giving the Rams a free 15 yards and more importantly, a first down. That put Los Angeles at the 34-yard line with first-and-10, and on the very next play, Puka Nacua beat none other than Woolen for a touchdown.
Instead of punting the ball away and keeping the score 31-20, the Rams got into the end zone to make it 31-27. It was a seven-point penalty by Woolen after the Rams capitalized on his bone-headed mistake.
Here's the penalty on Woolen.
From Rams 4th & 12 to a 1st down following the unsportsmanlike conduct on Seattle 😬

After falling behind by double digits twice, the Rams refuse to go away.
