Southern Hospitality‘s Grace Lilly has been arrested for harassment — with police allegedly finding “happy pills” in her purse.

Us Weekly can confirm that Lilly, 27, was booked in Charleston, South Carolina, on Monday, December 29, after authorities had a warrant out for her arrest related to a second-degree harassment charge.

Lilly was pulled over at a gas station on Sunday, December 28, after an alleged illegal lane change. Lilly requested to have her purse on her after being told to step out of the vehicle before being handcuffed.

Lilly, who had a passenger in the car with her, allegedly had “happy pills” in her personal belongings.

“Inside the purse, a small container with ‘Happy Pills’ imprinted on the top was located, which contained 12 circular white pills with a ‘P’ imprint on one side, and half of an oblong blue pill with no identifiable imprints,” stated the police report. “When asked about the pills found inside the purse, the offender stated that the blue pill was Xanax and the white pills were birth control. The offender stated she had a prescription for the Xanax but did not have any proof of that information available at the time.”

Lilly said she didn’t know the brand of the alleged birth control pills. The medication was seized and sent for testing, with the incident being identified on the police report as a “drugs/narcotics violation.”

Us Weekly has reached out to Bravo and Lilly for comment.

Lilly has been in the public eye since Southern Hospitality premiered in 2022. The Southern Charm spinoff follows the staff at Leva Bonaparte’s Republic nightclub in Charleston, South Carolina.

When the series debuted on Bravo, Lilly revealed which members of the Southern Charm cast she was close to — and which she kept her distance from at the time.

“We see them all around,” Lilly exclusively told Us in December 2022. “They’ve all been really nice. I mean, the only person that’s been a little dismissive is Austen [Kroll], but whatever.”

Lilly recalled Kroll’s reaction at a Halloween party when she spoke to him about Southern Hospitality. “He just didn’t really care to support it,” she claimed. “I don’t find that too cool because I’m a supportive individual.”

The then-Bravo newcomer remained on Southern Hospitality despite a career change.

“After five years of working at Republic Garden and Lounge, Grace Lilly has exited the building,” Lilly shared in a January episode of the show. “I’ve been doing some modeling and I just want to do like, bigger things.”

The former VIP host continued: “There’s never any knowing of where Grace Lilly will jet off to. And I’m going to rock with it.”

Lilly recalled coming to a realization after taking part in an ayahuasca ceremony that helped her “dive deeper” into her emotions. Lilly connected with late singer Bob Marley, saying, “I told him, I was like, ‘I love you Bob! I’m always going to spread your message.’ I love him. He’s like my f***ing role model for life.”

At the time, Lilly recalled a “come to Jesus” moment.”I just started crying and in that moment I had just this sense of, like, release,” she added.

Despite no longer being a consistent presence at Republic, Lilly was at the season 3 reunion of Southern Hospitality. In addition to Lilly, the hit series stars Bonaparte, Bradley Carter, Emmy Sharrett, Joe Bradley, Maddi Reese, Mia Alario, TJ Dinch and Will Kulp.

Molly Moore, Lake Rucker, Michols Peňa and Austin Stephan also make up the cast while Lucía Peña, Mikel Simmons and Oisin O’Neill appeared in the past but have since exited Southern Hospitality.
