With T.J. Watt set to miss his third straight game as he recovers from lung surgery, the Pittsburgh Steelers received some exciting news on another talented edge rusher.
After practicing in full on Friday, Nick Herbig (hamstring) has been cleared to play against the Cleveland Browns in Week 17, with no injury designation for Sunday’s matchup.

Herbig injured his hamstring in the Week 15 win over the Miami Dolphins, leaving the Steelers down to Alex Highsmith and rookie Jack Sawyer as the starting outside linebackers last Sunday against the Detroit Lions.
In his last performance against Cleveland in Week 6, Herbig sacked then-starting quarterback Dillon Gabriel twice in the win and will look to have an equally impressive performance at the expense of the Browns’ newest starter, quarterback Shedeur Sanders.
