Fernando Mendoza became Indiana's first Heisman Trophy winner on Saturday night, beating out fellow finalists Diego Pavia, Jeremiyah Love and Julian Sayin for college football's most prestigious award.

However, Mendoza joining an exclusive fraternity of Heisman Trophy winners wasn't the only thing we learned on Saturday night. A photo showing all four finalists standing next to each other went viral, and it raised questions about Diego Pavia's listed height, as per Vanderbilt.

Pavia and Love are officially listed at 6-foot flat, while Sayin is listed at 6-foot-1 and Mendoza is listed at 6-foot-5. As you can see from the photo, the reported heights don't exactly add up.

Pavia isn't the only one who some fans thought could be exaggerating their height, given that Love and Mendoza also appear to be roughly the same height. However, Pavia stands significantly shorter than the rest of the group.

How tall is Diego Pavia?

Pavia is officially listed on Vanderbilt's website as 6-feet tall, which is the same height New Mexico State reported on his profile two years ago during the 2023 season. However, as the above picture indicates, there may be some fudging of the numbers going on here.

The mystery likely won't last much longer. Every finalist except Sayin — who is not draft eligible — is likely moving on from college football after this season, and they will all be officially measured at the NFL combine.

Then, we'll know which of these players isn't being completely honest about their stature.
