Bayern Munich and Dayot Upamecano have been in talks over a new contract for some time, but have so far been unable to reach an agreement.
Now, it appears the French centre-back is putting the Bavarians under pressure.
According to Kicker, Upamecano’s camp has presented Bayern with clear demands for a new deal, including a signing bonus and additional clauses.
The player and his representatives see no need for further negotiations. If Bayern do not accept his proposal, the Frenchman intends to leave the club on a free transfer when his contract expires next summer.
Several European top clubs, including Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, are reportedly courting the centre-back.
