The San Francisco 49ers on Wednesday held their first official practice after their bye week as they prepare to return in Week 15 with a home game against the Tennessee Titans.
There was some hope that a handful of injured 49ers would return after the bye and while some did make their returns in Thursday's session, others sat out in an indication their returns will wait at least another week.
Perhaps the best news for San Francisco was who didn't appear on Wednesday's report. Neither quarterback Brock Purdy nor Ricky Pearsall were on the report even as full participants. That's a sign the week away was helpful in their respective recoveries from toe and knee injuries. Both had been on the practice report as full participants with their ailments since their Week 11 returns.
Here's what the full Wednesday participation report looked like:
Did not participate
- LB Tatum Bethune (ankle)
- DT Kevin Givens (not injury related - personal matter)
- LB Nick Martin (concussion)
- RB Christian McCaffrey (not injury related - resting player)
- DE Sam Okuayinonu (ankle)
- LT Trent Williams (not injury related - resting player)
Limited participation
- FB Kyle Juszczyk (ribs)
Full participation
- K Eddy Pineiro (hamstring)
- QB Kurtis Rourke (knee)
