Justin Theroux and pregnant wife Nicole Brydon Bloom stepped out for a date night just one day before news broke that they’re expecting baby No. 1.
Theroux, 54, and Bloom, 31, attended the premiere of Fallout season 2 at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles on Monday, December 8. The Leftovers star posed on the red carpet in a black suit alongside his wife, who sported a sparkly black figure-hugging dress. The couple was photographed holding hands and, at one point, Bloom rested a hand on Theroux’s shoulder and leaned in close as she flashed a loving smile in his direction.
The following day, People reported that Theroux and Bloom are expecting their first child together, nine months after the pair tied the knot. Us Weekly reached out to reps for Theroux and Bloom for comment.
News broke in March that they had gotten married in Tulum, Mexico, after two years of dating. Photos obtained by TMZ showed the couple posing for photos on the beach, with the Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice actor wearing a white tuxedo and the Paradise actress donning a white wedding dress.

Theroux and Bloom got engaged in August 2024 after he proposed in Italy while they were in the country for the Venice Film Festival. At the time, Bloom attended the premiere of Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice wearing what looked to be a diamond ring on her left hand.
“Of course, I was nervous proposing,” Theroux later told The Times in September 2024. “It is a question after all, so the answer isn’t guaranteed. But it was wonderful.”
Meanwhile, Bloom said during a February appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! that her now-husband was “very romantic” when he popped the question.
“He did it properly. It was very sweet [and] just the two of us,” she said at the time.
Theroux and Bloom were first linked in February 2023. Theroux revealed on The Drew Barrymore Show last year that he met Bloom at a party through “mutual friends.”
“A friend of mine who was with me, literally the quote was, ‘That’s the one,’” he explained. “Like, we hadn’t even met yet. And I was like, ‘She’s so stunning.’ So I went over and started talking and things like that and it progressed.”
While Theroux and Bloom have kept their relationship fairly private, the actor and screenwriter was previously in a high-profile marriage to Jennifer Aniston from 2015 to 2018. Theroux opened up about keeping his love life private after the relationship ended in a May 2023 interview with Esquire.

“There’s something to, once you’re out of that, where I want all of my relationships to exist within the four walls of whatever room we’re in,” he said. “And I’m not trying to be evasive but I talk to Jen — I don’t talk about Jen. People will always want to gossip and say things, but you have to find that balance.”
Theroux shared in his September 2024 interview with The Times that he’s still close with Aniston, 56.
“She is still very dear to me so, of course, yeah, I feel protective,” he said.
