Several high school football teams in Texas are literally thankful to be playing this week.
After the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday, regional semifinal round action in the University Interscholastic League playoffs will ramp up on Friday, with games that afternoon and evening. There will also be several playoff games on Saturday afternoon and evening.
We’ll update the brackets here each week for Texas’ top three classifications as the playoffs get under way in the Lone Star State.
