Erling Haaland joked he had been ‘punched’ by a teammate after being left needing stitches.
The Manchester City striker was injured whilst on international duty with Norway.

Fortunately for his club side, the injury is not serious despite Haaland being left bleeding from his lip.
The incident occurred after the Norway squad returned to their team hotel.
Haaland was fresh from scoring the only goal in their friendly victory over Finland on Thursday.
His strike extended his record goal tally for the nation to 43 goals in 44 caps.
However, Haaland was caught out when the luggage door on their team bus opened next to him.
The 25-year-old was hit in the face by the door, leaving him with cuts to his lip and chin.
He later shared a selfie to social media showing the damage left by the freak injury.
Alongside the snap, Haaland wrote: “Just got banged out by a bus door. Three stitches.”
A fan responded by asking: “Who punched you?” with the forward then urging his followers to reply with ‘wrong answers only’.
Another supporter then suggested it was Norway and Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard, with Haaland jokingly responding: “Correct.”

Haaland had required treatment after the incident, with Norway’s team doctor Ola Sand aiding him once he had been brought into the hotel.
However, he is not expected to be forced out of his country’s upcoming World Cup qualifier.
Norway’s World Cup campaign
Stale Solbakken’s side host Moldova on Tuesday in their latest clash on the road to next summer’s tournament.
Norway sit top of their group with four wins from as many matches so far in the campaign.
In European qualifying, each group winner earns a spot at the finals in Canada, Mexico and the USA.
Israel are currently three points behind Norway in second, with Italy a further three points back.

However, the Azzurri have played a match less than their rivals in the group.
Norway are aiming to qualify for their first World Cup since France 1998, when they reached the round of 16.
