Both teams to score and under 3.5 goals in Everton vs Brighton 2/1

Everton need a reaction from their players after a poor performance in their opening loss to newly promoted Leeds United and a first game at their new home looks the perfect place to do it.

The atmosphere is sure to be off the charts as the Toffees take to the field for their first competitive game at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, but with that comes great pressure on David Moyes’ side to put on a display for the home support.

Brighton began the campaign with a 1-1 draw against Fulham after conceding an injury time equaliser and the Seagulls do not look as strong as they did last season.

Both teams have scored in four of the last six meetings between the pair, while under 3.5 goals would have been a winning selection in three of the last four meetings of the sides.

Special of the day

Manchester United to beat Fulham, Como to beat Lazio and Monaco to beat Lille 39/4

Manchester United’s record against Fulham is exceptional, despite defeat on penalties in last season’s FA Cup for Ruben Amorim’s side.

The Red Devils appear to have the wool over the Cottager for some time. United have lost just once in 20 meetings between the pair and are on a run of five away wins in a row at Craven Cottage.

Despite losing to Arsenal in their first match of the campaign, there were clear signs of progress under Amorim, and United should register their first win of the campaign.

Como are an up-and-coming force in Italian football, and a win against Lazio would be a strong statement to start the season. Under Cesc Fabregas, Como have invested heavily in their playing squad with Spain captain Alvaro Morata being the headline signing of the summer.

Backing the Northern Italians to see off their rivals from the capital looks a strong option.

Round off this accumulator with a win for Monaco when they travel to Lille, who began the season with an entertaining but disappointing 3-3 draw against Brest.

Monaco have strengthened with experienced additions in Eric Dier, Lukas Hradecky and Paul Pogba, alongside promising talents Ansu Fati and Mika Biereth.

The squad looks well balanced this season and showed real quality in their opening 3-1 victory. Dier marked his debut with a goal, while Tottenham target Maghnes Akliouche rounded off an impressive performance with the third goal.

Longshot of the day

Crystal Palace v Nottingham Forest – Nikola Milenkovic anytime goalscorer 9/1

There is no love lost between this pair after Crystal Palace’s demotion to the Conference League qualifiers saw Nottingham Forest move into the Europa League.

Palace have made it clear they believe Forest are behind the move and Sunday’s clash is set to be a tasty affair.

Plenty of set-pieces are expected, and as a result, backing Forest defender Nikola Milenkovic to grab a goal looks an appealing option. The giant centre-back scored five times in the Premier League last season, and he can find the back of the net again against Palace.
