After a career in which he delivered both on and off the field, Rosevelt Colvin deserves the sweet life he’s living now.
The two-time Super Bowl winner has continued standing on business long after retiring following the 2008 campaign.

The former linebacker earned a degree in Industrial Technology before becoming a fourth-round pick in the 1999 NFL Draft.
Following a three-year stint, Colvin became a major free-agent signing during the Bill Belichick era at the New England Patriots.
While he became a fan-favourite for delivering sacks and tackles, the 47-year-old was also making deliveries of a different kind off-field.
By 2008, Colvin owned two UPS stores in his hometown of Indianapolis, which later expanded to five in the area.
“Right now, the way my life is going, if I decided tomorrow that I was going to retire, I’d first figure out how far I want to take the UPS thing,” Colvin told the Patriots website.
“My wife wants to own her own salon, so I’d probably try to help her in that direction,” added Colvin.
Instead, the following year, he took more on his plate by helping his wife, Tiffany, open a bakery.
The couple co-owned SweeTies Gourmet Treats, which had two locations around Indianapolis, for around 15 years.
The popular cake shop was best known for selling the ‘Tom Brady,’ a yellow cake cupcake with chocolate frosting on top.
Colvin also had nods to coach Belichick, called the ‘Check Mate’, with others for Vince Wilfork, Wes Welker, Deion Branch, and Matt Light.

SweeTies cupcake shops close
In 2012, the NFL hired SweeTies to serve treats at the league’s official tailgate party ahead of Super Bowl XLVI.
Unfortunately for the Patriots, the icing on the cake wasn’t victory at Lucas Oil Stadium, as the Giants claimed a 21-17 win.
Unfortunately, SweeTies permanently closed its doors in the summer of 2023.
As per the Indianapolis Business Journal, a note posted on the front door of the original location delivered the bad news.
“To all of our loyal customers and fans we’d like to thank you for your patronage and support throughout the years.

SweeTies’ Facebook page remains active, with the Colvins’ using it mainly to promote the athletic prowess of their children.
His daughter, Raven, is a volleyball star who turned pro in January after being drafted by the Grand Rapids Rise.
Meanwhile, his son, Myles, is at his alma mater, Purdue, and is a sophomore guard.

What is Rosevelt Colvin up to now?
Coincidentally, in March, Myles starred in the Boilermakers’ 76-62 win against McNeese State in Providence, with his former Patriots father in the stands.
After scoring eight points with six rebounds, he told WPRI-TV: “It’s just been cool to come back and be around the place where I grew up.
“It’s really cool just to see (the support here). It just shows how small the world really is. So to, come back here where I grew up, like I said, for couple years and to not only just play two basketball games but to win them here — now we get a chance to go to the Sweet 16, it’s a really good situation.”
“I’m forever grateful for the opportunities I’ve had here, and for Myles to have this opportunity now coming back here. We were looking forward to being back in the area. We’re blessed,” Colvin Snr. said to the Boston Globe.
“Me and my wife are living a life of luxury. We are so humbled and blessed to be back in the area. Hopefully, it’s a successful trip times two for Purdue.”
