Jake Paul has undergone a series of impressive changes over the past decade, completely transforming the direction of his career.
When he first began creating viral video content on Vine in 2013, the young internet sensation was a mere skinny teenager.

Over a short space of time, his views grew exponentially and led him to create a YouTube channel the following year, which became his main venture once Vine died off.
He then joined the Disney Channel show Bizaardvark; however, it was announced halfway through the second series that he would be leaving.
Was Jake Paul fired by Disney?
“I think it was a long time coming,” he told The Sun in 2021. “You know, a lot of the media paint any picture of you that they want.
“The split between Disney and I, in fact, was mutual, it was like sort of this thing that was coming.
“But at the time, everyone was like, ‘Oh, you got fired by Disney, you got fired by Disney’. So I kind of just ran with it.
“Because there wasn’t really like, I wasn’t able to tell the truth about it. Or people just didn’t want to hear the truth.
“They just wanted to be like Jake Paul got fired by Disney.”
He added: “But it was sort of this, too, you know, a brand and Disney and Jake Paul, kind of two brands growing apart.
“And so it sort of made sense. And ultimately, both parties are happier after that split.”

How did Jake Paul get into boxing?
Coming out the other side of the Disney career in 2017, Paul pressed on with his individual YouTube channel, which today has more than 20.9million subscribers with more than seven billion views.
He delved into music and created the ‘Team 10’ brand, which took the platform by storm.
In 2018, his entry into boxing began.
While older brother Logan Paul took the main event stage in a white collar fight with KSI, Jake faced KSI’s brother Deji on the undercard.
He won by fifth-round stoppage and then, after seeing Logan turn professional for a rematch with KSI, was inspired to do the same.

Logan has now claimed in Jake’s 2023 Netflix documentary that the sport potentially even saved his life
“It’s not easy to be hated by the whole entire world,” he said, “It creates a very dark mental place.”
“Both my dad and I felt worried for my brother’s life. Jake’s always been pretty emotionally unpredictable and volatile.
“There was a point where we were both legitimately concerned that Jake was going to kill himself. He needed purpose, and I didn’t know what he was going to do. What’s he good at?”

What is Jake Paul’s record?
Paul made his pro debut with promoter Eddie Hearn, facing KSI’s friend and training partner AnEsonGib in Miami.
Despite many believing Gib would provide him with a challenge, Paul scored three knockdowns and a first-round stoppage win.
He next moved to Triller for a second-round knockout of former NBA star Nate Robinson on Mike Tyson’s undercard, and then KOd ex-MMA fighter Ben Askren inside one round.
Following a switch to SHOWTIME, Paul boxed Tyron Woodley twice, KOing him in their rematch after a decision win the first time around.
Despite a frustrating 2022 with cancelled fights against Tommy Fury and Hasim Rahman Jr, Paul did pick up another cheque by beating UFC legend Anderson Silva in his toughest fight to date.

Next came his first and only career defeat to Fury in early 2023.
Paul knocked Fury down in the eighth round, but Tyson Fury‘s half-brother won via a split decision, with the judges scoring the contest 76-73, 76-73 and 74-75 in favour of the Brit.
This put Paul on 6-1, but he’s bounced back and has won his last six fights comprehensively.
Paul stepped into the ring against UFC legend Nate Diaz just three months after his defeat to Fury and won via unanimous decision.
Andre August, an unknown professional boxer, followed, but he was viciously knocked out by Paul in the first round.

Ryan Bourland and Mike Perry were both similarly dispensed with, before came that fight against heavyweight legend, Mike Tyson.
Paul, who made the step-up from cruiserweight, won on every judge’s scorecard to win by unanimous decision.
He has now become only the sixth person ever to beat Tyson, adding a seventh loss to the icon’s record, which is now 50-7.
Paul also needed the scorecards in his most recent bout, sharing the ring with former world champion, Julio Chavez Jr.
For that fight, the American came in at 199.4 pounds – down from his heavyweight debut, when he weighed in at a career high of 227¼ pounds.
Jake Paul: Wins, losses and record
Paul has now competed in 13 professional fights in his boxing career.
Out of those fights, he’s won 12 with one defeat, which came against Tommy Fury in February 2023.
He has claimed seven victories via knockout or TKO.

Jake Paul’s body transformation
Over this period, Paul has undergone an impressive body transformation as he’s bulked up effectively and grown into his ‘man strength’.
He revealed to the Mail: “I’m training daily, sometimes six, seven days a week. I’m doing sprints, I’m jogging five, six, seven miles.
“I’m doing thousands of push-ups, abs every day, neck exercises… I’m boxing, hitting the heavy bag, hitting the speed bag, I’m sparring 2-3 times a week against world champions, I’m doing yoga.
“I’m eating chicken and vegetables and cutting out all the bad stuff.
“I’m completely sober and I’m only allowed to have sex once a week!”

Jake Paul next fight
A deal for Anthony Joshua vs Jake Paul is advancing, but there’s no guarantee it will be sanctioned on British shores.
Joshua has yet to fight since losing to Daniel Dubois in September, but is currently in talks for a controversial clash with Paul.
Paul’s bout with Mike Tyson last November was sanctioned by the Texas Athletic State Commission despite the legend being 58-years-old.
But there would be a significant gap in both skill and size between Paul, and it is unclear if they would evaluate it on the advice of backlash.
Paul has had just one fight at heavyweight, coming in at just over 200lbs to meet Tyson, but he is naturally a cruiserweight.

Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua fight purse
Paul has proven he is serious about facing Joshua by accepting an incredibly low purse split for the crossover clash.
‘The Problem Child’ met with Saudi powerbroker Turki Alalshikh last month to discuss a possible fight with AJ.
And boxing mogul Alalshikh incredibly revealed that Paul has accepted his proposal for a 99-1 purse split in Joshua’s favour.
Paul pocketed $40million to fight Mike Tyson last November, but under Alalshikh’s terms, he wouldn’t come anywhere near that sum.
On the flip side, Joshua would bank one of the biggest purses in boxing history at £80m.

Ahead of Moses Itauma’s career-best victory over Dillian Whyte on Saturday, Gareth A Davies told talkSPORT: “Look, it shouldn’t be sanctioned or licensed anywhere. That’s a fact.
“I spoke to Eddie Hearn and Frank Smith on the way in here tonight, and I can reveal now Anthony Joshua will earn £80 million for fighting Jake Paul. Commercially, it’s a win-win for him.
“Morally, it’s a lose-lose for boxing. Medically, it’s a lose-lose for boxing.
“We will get away with it if Jake Paul does not get horribly injured by Anthony Joshua.
“The two former fighters on our panel tonight [Spencer Oliver and Duke McKenzie] know that another fighter is not going to say no to earning that amount of money.
“Anthony Joshua’s earned the right to be that commercially big. Jake Paul has earned the right to be that commercially big.
“But athletically, they do not belong in a boxing ring anywhere in this universe.”

Will Jake Paul fight Anthony Joshua?
Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn told talkSPORT: “It’s definitely a fight that is fairly close. Bizarrely, this young man, Jake Paul, thinks he can win the fight.
“I’m never going to sit here and tell you that it’s competitive. I think it’s a mismatch. But I know there’s a lot of people that would take enjoyment in seeing Jake Paul get knocked spark out and maybe eradicated from the sport of boxing.
“AJ is definitely the man up for the assignment. So, you know, in this situation, you’re better off just being honest.
“People say to me, ‘What is there to gain from the fight?’ And I just say this, this is one of the biggest events in boxing.
“It would be one of AJ’s biggest paydays in boxing. And as I said, I quite fancy sitting ringside watching Jake Paul get knocked spark out.
“Now, listen, we’ll see if that happens, and we’ve got lots of opportunities. Anthony Joshua, everybody’s calling him out, but it all comes down to Jake Paul if he truly wants to step up to the challenge. But you know, this is very, very dangerous.
“And I said to his manager, the other day, people around the world will tune in for this, for the danger, we got to be a little bit careful at the same time, I said to the manager, ‘this is a bit like when you used to tune in to watch David Blaine and see if he can get out the box or not. And he’s like, Oh, is he going to be all right? I don’t know.’ This is like that.
“But I said to Jake, Paul, you ain’t in a box, mate, this ain’t David Blaine. I said, so just be careful, because AJ will take your head clean off your shoulders, and it’s dangerous.
“You take on that responsibility, and we all have to, so we gotta think about that, but this is Anthony fighting a top 50 cruiserweight in the world.
“It’s not something that we would normally do but we know the size of the fight, commercially, so it’s pretty close, and I wouldn’t be surprised if this happens next.”
What is for sure is that Paul will be in immense shape for the bout yet again – a far cry from the skinny physique of a Disney teen star 10 years ago…
