Carlos Prates celebrated his win at UFC 319 the only way he knows how to: by smoking a cigarette.
The Brazilian MMA star goes through 10 cigarettes a day, and despite several attempts to kick the habit, he has yet to give it up.

His hard-living lifestyle, which also includes an indulgence in alcohol, goes against the norm of your average UFC fighter.
However, Prates has been able to achieve remarkable success in spite of this.
The 32-year-old occupies the No.12 spot in the welterweight rankings and sports an impressive 5-1 record inside the UFC Octagon.
On Saturday night, he scored a career-best victory over No.11-ranked Geoff Neal on the UFC 319 main card in Chicago.
After a barn-burning start to proceedings that saw both men land heavy blows, Prates closed the show with one second left in the opening round courtesy of a brutal spinning back elbow.
In the immediate aftermath, the Fighting Nerds team member called for a fight in Brazil next and then rocked up to the press conference smoking a cigarette.
Asked what a post-knockout cigarette tastes like, Prates replied: “It feels amazing.
“It’s my birthday tomorrow. It was a lot of hard work, now I want to celebrate.
“I’m going to go to some parties and celebrate my victory and my bonus.”
After leaving the top table, UFC president Dana White sat down to address the media and was immediately hit with the pungent smell of smoke.

“Who’s smoking in here?” said White as he and the whole room burst out laughing.
On a night of excellent action, Prates was one of four fighters to receive a $50,000 performance bonus.
Khamzat Chimaev picked up an extra five figures for snatching the UFC middleweight belt from Dricus Du Plessis with a dominant decision victory in the main event.
Tim Elliot pocketed $50,000 for his gutsy second-round submission victory over Kai Asakura.
Meanwhile, unbeaten Brit Lerone Murphy went home $50,000 richer after scoring an almost identical first-round spinning back elbow KO to Prates.
